With 2023 well underway we have pushed go on the latest stamp duty changes from NSW:
- NSW First Home Buyer Choice now offers “… an eligible first home buyer in NSW, the choice between paying stamp duty or a smaller annual property tax”
- Widget Works’ stamp duty calculator now supports eligibility criteria, and side by side comparison of this new property tax vs upfront stamp duty
This feature is already released to existing customers as part of your subscription, and if the scheme remains in place past the March 2023 election we will add land value lookup by address for an even smoother user experience.
Buying Costs calculator support for modelling deposit adequacy and LMI will incorporate this change shortly.
