In line with Microsoft’s recent announcement that they will end support for Internet Explorer 8 in January 2016, we will be ending support for IE8 from 1 June 2015.
As users are moving to newer, faster, and more secure browsers we are seeing clients and vendors shifting away from IE8 across the board.
Many of our larger clients have already dropped support for IE8 due to low usage percentages and wanting to provide a better experience to their customers on mobile and on current browser versions.
All of your existing Widgets will continue to work on IE8, but our new tools will be based on newer libraries which only support IE9+. The upside will be performance improvements and a better Widget experience for your customers, especially on mobile devices.
